About the NATO ARW:

This five day workshop will bring together world class scientists from NATO countries and NATO Co-operation Partner (CP) countries, to review the state of the science dealing with Radio Frequency Radiation dosimetry, measurements and the relationship between SAR, power density and the biological effects of the electromagnetic fields. The first three days will consist of presentations by invited speakers from topics as follows: basics of electromagnetics, dielectric properties, measurement techniques, theoretical and experimental dosimetry, thermal responses of man and animals, thermal distribution modeling and applications of dosimetry in biology and medicine. In the final two days of the workshop, participants will join the working groups to evaluate the material presented in the sessions and reach a consensus about what material should be included in the revision of the Radiofrequency Radiation Dosimetry Handbook.
