Preliminary Program

    General remarks

  • Below these lines you will find the preliminary List of Abstracts. These abstracts were accepted by the International Scientific Committee for presentation at the 3rd ICBEM and 1st Slo-CroMBE. Abstracts are ordered alphabetically by the FIRST AUTHOR'S last name. In the Preliminary Time Schedule you can find the approximate schedule for your presentation. We tried to respect your preferred type of presentation whenever it was possible.

  • The List of Abstracts will be updated regularly as we receive the information from the agency ALBATROS Bled, which is taking care of registrations and hotel reservations. We would like to urge all participants who have not yet registered or sent the deposit to do so immediately in order to avoid omission of their abstracts from the Final Program and from the Proceedings of the 3rd ICBEM. If you have not yet made hotel reservation, do so soon too. There are enough rooms reserved in the three different hotels. However, the number of rooms available in each particular hotel is limited.

  • The exact time schedule for presentation of individual abstracts will be available soon.

Instructions for authors

Platform presentations
  • Authors of platform presentations will have 15 minutes to present their work (approximately 12 min presentation + 3 min discussion).

Posters
  • The maximum dimensions of posters should be 95 cm wide by 160 cm high. Posters should be put up on Sunday afternoon. During poster viewing sessions posters should be manned by their authors.

PRELIMINARY PROGRAM
- General remarks
- Preliminary List of Abstracts
- Preliminary Time Schedule

Please check the REGISTRATION STATUS of your abstract. The following three options are possible in the Registration Status column:

O.K.:

The PRESENTING AUTHOR as indicated on the Abstract Submission Form has already registered fully which means that the Registration Form and corresponding payment have been both received by ALBATROS Bled Tourist Agency.
        or
The registration fee was waived by the Organizers.

Deposit:

The PRESENTING AUTHOR as indicated on the Abstract Submission Form has sent a deposit of EUR 50 but has not yet registered fully.

Due:

Neither the deposit nor the registration fee has been received so far from the PRESENTING AUTHOR (see the following note).

IMPORTANT NOTE! Since several abstracts that we received were NOT equipped with the requested Abstract Submission Form or with all the needed data, it is possible that some abstracts have their registration status set to "Due" even though one of the co-authors actually did register, but we could not identify him/her as the presenting author. This can happen for example in cases where a particular author appears on several abstracts but is listed as the PRESENTING AUTHOR only on one of them and the presenting authors on the other abstracts did not register or send the deposit. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THIS (OR A SIMILAR ONE) IS YOUR CASE!
